Bubby Martha's famous Mandelbroit

3 eggs
1 cup oil
1 cup sugar
1 tsp. Vanilla
3 ½ cups flour
2 ½ tsp baking powder
Almost a whole bag of chocolate chips


Preheat oven to 350
Grease baking sheet

In a large mixer, beat eggs, sugar, vanilla, and oil.
Add in the flour and baking powder together.
Fold in chopped nuts, or chocolate if desired.

Form in 2 long rows on the cookie sheet
Bake at 350 for 25 to 30 minutes. Remove from
Oven and slice into ½- slices.

Note. When making mandelbroit with nuts use 3 ¼ cups flour and
When forming fold it into 3 oval mounds on the cookie sheet sprinkle
on top of each loaf cinn. and sugar. slice the mondelbroit almost all
the way down the cinn. and sugar will fall down in to the pieces.

WEIRD BUT TRUE MANDELBROIT FACTS:

1. Don't double the recipe at one time, it never works out.

2. Handmixed batters taste better than machine mixed.

3. Always put silverfoil ontop of the cookie sheet, and then spray the silverfoil. otherwise it doesn't come out good.

4. remove mandelbroit from oven right away and cool in a cool place (aka: not ontop of the oven)otherwise it dries out
